Change your email

You can move your account to a new email address yourself. The change is verified at the new address before it takes effect, so a typo can never lock you out: until you confirm, your old address keeps working and nothing has changed.

Change it yourself

From Settings → Account:

  1. Enter the new email address and your current password (the password step confirms it is really you).
  2. Neuji sends a confirmation link to the new address and, as a security measure, a notice to your old address that a change was requested.
  3. Open the link in the new inbox. The link is valid for 24 hours. Your account email switches the moment you confirm; everything else about the account is untouched.

While a change is pending you will see it noted in your settings, with buttons to resend the link (handy if it didn't arrive) or cancel the request. Until you confirm, your existing address remains your sign-in.

What can and cannot be the new address

The new address must be a valid email that is not already in use by another account. As with sign-up, Neuji compares the canonical form of the address, so you cannot move to an alias of an account that already exists. Changing only the punctuation of your own address (for example, adding or removing Gmail dots) updates the stored, displayed address without disrupting your sign-in.

Admin-assisted changes

If you can no longer reach the address on your account — for instance, you mistyped it and the verification link went nowhere — contact support@neuji.com. Support can change the address for you. An admin-assisted change takes effect immediately, notifies both the old and new addresses, and signs the account out of all devices, so you sign back in with the corrected address.
